When the animals in our lives get sick, their signs are often vague and they are unable to communicate to us why or where they are hurting. This can cause stress and anxiety for pet-parents and our doctors at CCVH of Charlotte are here and ready to help!
Your veterinarian will use one or more of the following to diagnose and treat your pet for a myriad of conditions; a full physical exam, extensive in-house laboratory testing, a full outside reference laboratory, and on site imaging such as ultrasound or x-ray.
In some cases, diseases can be simple to diagnose and effective therapy can be started in the hospital immediately. Other times, the disease requires multiple tests to obtain a true diagnosis. Some of our patients are best managed in the comfort of their own home with conservative treatments, others require hospitalization and intensive care and supervision, while others may benefit most from a referral to a veterinary specialist. Either way, our veterinary team will take the time to explain the diagnosis, discuss all the testing and treatments needed, and then work with you to determine the best treatment plan moving forward for you and your pet.

I have used Dr Johnson ever since she opened this office and my pets love her to death. She is very caring and does not rush you and always answers your questions in layman's terms. She loves her work along with her associates.
